Feel Unique Summer Sale Wishlist

There is nothing that makes me more excited than a Feel Unique sale, they have such a great selection of high end brands that they are usually my once stop shop for beauty products (not least because of their free delivery policy) and we all love a good bargain that comes with a sale don't we. Here is what I have my eye on, but there are so many bargains on there you should definitely pop over and have a look.

There are whole brand discounts on: Bliss, Elemis, Elemis Fresh Skin, Kerastase, Marc Jacobs, Real Techniques and Rodial plus a few more.

Whilst I can't afford my whole wish list (well not if I am planning on living for the rest of the year) I will definitely be picking up a few bits and bobs.

It certainly is an exciting time of year, have you had a look at the sale? Is there anything you will be picking up?

Another Beauty Haul

A few of you messaged me over my last post to let me know how well I had done on my post spending ban haul in London. I felt quite guilty, because in London we didn't actually have too much time to go shopping or to spend too much. So last Saturday I did a serious shopping trip to get 'restocked'.

With stops at Asda and Boots, I made some essential purchases and some little treats along the way.

Bourgois Bronzing Primer- £9.99
Alot of people have compared this to the Soleil Tan De Chanel, which always sounded rather lovely to me but far too expensive for a product that doesn't seem quite necessary- £9.99 may seem like alot still to some for this product but I thought I would give it a go. It's quite dark on me so I have been using it for contouring underneath foundation and I am impressed by it so far.

Bourgois Liner Feutre Ultra Black felt tip eyeliner- £6.99
I have used this a couple of times and I must say that i'm not ultra enthused by it so far. It is quite pigmented but the felt nib isn't as quick to use as others. Maybe I just need to get used to it though. I normally go for the scandal eyes liner, however bourjois had '3 for 2' on all beauty products and I can't resist a deal.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in shade 2- £4.19
I have bought this and re-bought this and will continue to re buy this for quite a while. I prefer this to some of my higher end concealers as it gives great coverage and is a nice consistency- I definitely recommend this.

Bourjois Nail Varnish- Blue no Blues- £5.99
This nail varnish may be the most beautiful blue I have ever used, it is a turquoise mint and is opaque in one coat but really benefits from a second coat. I've worn it this week and haven't stopped looking at my nails, it's just so beautiful.

Sally Hansen- Acetone Free Nail Varnish- £2.45
This really is an either here nor there, I needed nail varnish remover- one without acetone as I have a seperate bottle of it- and this one caught my eye. It's working as you would expect a nail varnish remover to work... would I recommend it? Not above any other bottle.

Nspa Brightening Detox Scrub £4.50
I have been using the Dermalogica microfoliant for some time now and when it ran out I wanted to rebuy it but was a little put off by the price tag so I have been playing with cheaper scrubs since then. Nspa currently have a 2 for £7 offer on (sold exclusively in asda) so I decided to get this and so far I really like it, it is a light and gentle scrub that works to great effect. My skin doesn't feel dry as a result of using it but feels lovely and smooth- so far, so good.

Nspa facial oil £7.00
This smells incredible, so far I have used it once as I bought it for a 'weekly' use, the next day my skin felt incredible which is a good start, I don't want to overload my skin with it though so once I have used it enough to form an opinion on it, I will share it with you.

Bumble and Bumble Texture Hair (un)dressing creme - £22.00
I saved the best till last, I have coveted this for so long that when I stumbled across a bumble and bumble stand I just could not help myself- infact I think I did quite well to restrain myself just to this one product. It is a cream to create bounce, volume and texture whilst creating a messy look. I love me some messy hair already and i'm so excited to use this and see what it can really do.

Do you use any of these products? What are you lusting after at the moment?

London Meetup & post ban haul

Group shot of the London Blogger Meet - Credit to Emma Meet The Millards for the picture.

As some of my readers will have seen, I spent about 10 weeks on a spending ban with the lovely Sasha Natasha and Rachel. We all did so well and not one of us caved in- something that I don't think any of us were expecting. As a reward to ourselves we all attended the London blogger meet up on the 27th July, hosted by Helen from Beautifully Superfluous. I didn't take any photos at the event as I was so busy having fun and chatting to all of the other girls who attended the event, it was so much fun and I got talking to so many great people, a massive thank you to Helen for arranging such a great day with wonderful goody bags at the end of it. I know that she worked really hard to create an amazing day and I had such a great time!

The day started at 6am for me, when I woke up following a dream that Sasha and I had missed our train to London, but luckily we both made it there in time for our 9am train. We then met up with Clair and Tasha at paddington and made our way over to Tiger Tiger for the event. On the way we picked up another group of girls and we made our way there. Helen was already there and was frantically trying to get set up, I don't envy the fact that they had to drive and park in central London and then have to get all the goody bags to the venue but they did a great job. More bloggers arrived and then every one was just mingling and chatting, the atmosphere was great and a lot of people were doing a great job at circulating- something that I am naff at! There was a representative from Paperself, applying lashes. I didn't have any as I have sensitive eyes but they looked incredible and I was quite jealous. Then after a couple of hours we all went shopping- Kat from Tales of a Pale Face took us all to Illamasqua and then from there we went to Liberty, & Other Stories, Boots and MAC- a nice hit of Londons finest beauty stores. The group got split up along the way and in the end Grace from All That Slap, Kat, Sasha, Tasha and I ended up going for Italian before Sasha and I got our train home.

With Beauty Bird Sasha and Bags Bows and Boots Clair- credit to Sasha for the picture.
As it was a post ban shopping spree as well, I thought I would just show you the things that I bought, I had some serious buying guilt as it had been such a long time since I had bought anything but in hindsight I am really happy with everything that I bought.

I went a little nail varnish crazy in boots and picked up these:

Butter London- Trout Pout A gorgeous neon salmon
Barry M- Sour Apple confetti little strips of blue and yellow to create a feather effect
Mavala- Racy Fuchsia A rich purple toned pink
Barry M Neon Pink Limited edition A bright pink neon & currently free when you spend £6 on Barry M in Boots

I also bought the dolly mixtures confetti from Barry M but seem to have misplaced this temporarily. (it turned up in my handbag about 4 hours later)

MAC 217 and 214 brushes
A naughty trip to the MAC pro store resulted in me adding to my already extensive brush collection. I had heard many great things about the 217 and the 214 so I took the slightly naughty plunge and bought them. So far I am getting on really well with them and have so many compliments over my eye makeup- the only thing I have changed is the tools! So I will do a full review on these when I have used them a little more.

NARS Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc
I have swatched this on the back on my hand many a time in the past and never felt the need to buy it, but in London I noticed that my foundation had slightly melted off when I was stood right by the NARS counter. So I quickly patch filled with the closest foundation to me- NARS Sheer Glow. I was amazed with how incredible the finish was so I very quickly bought it. I didn't even give the MUA chance to try and convince me I needed it, it was already mine. I've had comments on how good my skin looks since using it- full review to come once I have used it a bit longer.

Here is a list of the other bloggers who attended, (Thank you Helen, I copied this straight from you.)
