Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream- £5.99

Normally I wouldn't bother writing about this kind of product from Burts Bees, but this is just so incredible that I wanted to share it with everyone. I definitely have problem nails, they're very dry, flaky, weak, brittle and my cuticles need extra TLC. I bought this about a month ago and have been using it twice a day and it has completely transformed my nails, cuticles and skin around the nail bed. My nails have stopped peeling and feel really hydrated and in good condition and my cuticles are needing less work to tidy them up. It also smells incredible- like old fashioned lemonade- I can't stop sniffing my nails through out the day which is making me look a bit mental I think.

I don't really have a technique, I just slap in on over the whole nail, under polish... over polish... just what ever really. it also works quite nicely on dry elbows and knees as well. The  only think that surprised me is that it is not a cream- how deceptive!- it's a thick balm that sinks straight in. It goes above and beyond being a cuticle cream and I really think this is something that everyone would find useful.

  1. I use Lush's Lemony Flutter on my cuticles at the moment, but have wanted to try this for so long. Does it leave your fingers feeling greasy? x

    1. I havent tried Lemony Flutter so can't compare, but Lemon Butter doesn't leave your fingers greasy at all- it leaves a slight residue but it is similar to moisturiser rather than grease :)xx

  2. I use this as well! I love it~! I've never maintained my nails and cuticles until I got this and tried to grow out my nails again. Now I'm a nail polish fiend. I also agree with sniffing and looking mental part, haha!

  5. I have this and I got it for Christmas maybe 4 years ago. But I've only used it a few times and it's when I'm doing my nails so I haven't noticed a difference. I guess I need to use it more frequently! Hahahaha.
